Welcome
In-Person & Virtual Therapy Sandpoint, ID
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or carrying more than you want to on your own, you’re not alone. Many people I work with look like they’re holding it together on the outside, but inside feel anxious, discouraged, or weighed down by past experiences.
EMDR therapy helps your brain process what’s been difficult so it no longer feels as intense or keeps showing up the same way.
Most people begin with a brief, no-pressure consultation. It’s a chance to talk through what’s been going on and get a sense of what approach would best support you.

The Work
What is EMDR Therapy?
EMDR is a research-supported therapy that helps the brain process traumatic experiences, anxiety, and depression.
When something overwhelming happens, it can stay stuck in the nervous system. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they no longer trigger the same emotional response.
EMDR therapy can be helpful if you’re experiencing:
• Trauma or PTSD that still feels close
• Anxiety or panic that’s hard to settle
• Depression or feeling stuck or disconnected
• Memories that still carry emotional weight
• Negative beliefs about yourself that don’t shift
